Industries

We work in four sectors: energy and oilfield, B2B services, retail ecommerce and local services. What separates them is who's searching and how long they take. An engineer checking a part against a spec, a shopper comparing products and someone who needs a service today are three different problems.

B2B Services

B2B services sell an outcome nobody can inspect before buying. Method 21 builds the evidence that makes a firm safe to shortlist.

Retail Ecommerce

Retail search is decided on category pages and product data. Method 21 works on the pages that carry the most link equity and outlast the products.

Energy / Oil & Gas

Method 21 runs search programs for energy and oilfield companies from Houston, where the buyers, the vocabulary and the procurement cycle are all specific.

Local Services

Local services companies win or lose in three map slots. Method 21 works on the profile, review and prominence signals that decide which three show.

Three of These Four Sell the Same Way

B2B services, energy and industrial equipment share a buying pattern. The purchase is considered, the buyer is technical, several people sign off and nobody can inspect the outcome before committing. Search has to do the work of proving competence, not persuading. That is why these pages talk about specifications, procurement language and evidence rather than messaging.
Local services is the exception, and we keep it separate for that reason. The decision is fast, the buyer is one person and the result is settled in the map pack rather than on the website. Treating it like a considered B2B purchase is the usual mistake.

What the Result Turns on in Each

SectorWho is searchingWhat the result turns on
Energy and oilfieldEngineers and procurement, often using an operator or spec term rather than a product nameMatching the vocabulary buyers actually use, and pages that survive being read out of context
B2B servicesA committee that cannot inspect the service before buyingEvidence that makes a firm safe to shortlist
Retail ecommerceA buyer comparing options, usually on a category pageCategory pages and product data, which outlast any individual product
Local servicesOne person, deciding quickly, usually on a phoneProfile, review and prominence signals that decide the three map slots

Houston Is the Market, Not a Location Page

Houston means the energy sector is not a vertical on a list, it is the market outside the window. The vocabulary, the buyers and the procurement cycle are all specific, and they are easier to write about accurately from inside the city than from a content brief.
These are also the companies most often underserved. A manufacturer with genuine engineering depth and an invisible website is a common situation, and the distance between what the firm knows and what its site says is usually where the opportunity sits.
Each sector page covers how the work differs there: energy and oil and gas with four specialties under it, B2B services covering manufacturing and technology, retail ecommerce and local services. The work itself is described on the services pages, and AI visibility covers being cited in AI answers. Call (832) 429-6983 or use the contact page.
