Method 21 builds websites for a living, so this site should meet the standard we hold client work to. This page states what we are aiming for, what has actually been tested and what to do if something gets in your way.

The standard this site aims for
Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA, the benchmark referenced by the Americans with Disabilities Act in practice and required of US federal agencies under Section 508.
Current conformance status
This site is partially conformant with WCAG 2.2 Level AA. Partially conformant means most of the standard is met but some content has not yet been fully assessed. We would rather say that plainly than claim full conformance we have not verified.
What has been verified
The following were confirmed by automated testing of representative page templates in August 2026, not assumed.

What has not been assessed yet
Being specific about the gaps is more useful than a general disclaimer.
- Screen reader testing. No manual pass with VoiceOver, NVDA or JAWS has been completed.
- Full keyboard walkthrough. Focus order and keyboard traps have not been manually verified on every page.
- Every page individually. Testing covered page templates rather than all content.
- Forms. Contact and quote forms are being rebuilt. Label association and error messaging will be verified before they go live.
- Documents. PDFs and downloadable files have not been assessed for accessibility.

It helps if you can tell us the page address, what you were trying to do and the browser and assistive technology you were using. We aim to acknowledge within two business days and to give you a target date for a fix at the same time.
If you need information from this site in a different format, ask. We will provide it another way, including reading it to you over the phone.
How this was assessed
By self evaluation. Automated checks were run against representative templates by the Method 21 team. No third party audit has been commissioned, and no accessibility overlay or widget is installed on this site. Overlays frequently interfere with the assistive technology people already use, so we fix the underlying markup instead.
Changes to this statement
It will. We will update it as the outstanding items above are completed, and the date at the top of the page will change with it.
